This March 11 till 25 poets between Omaha and San Jose can get free rides on the Poetry Cab. You only need to write me a poem about your city or town.

Selection

In each city or town we only one poet will get a free ride on the Poetry Cab. He or she will also get a publication (poem, name, photo, and short bio) in our anthology and he or she will be filmed while reading the poem in our backseat filmstudio.

City or country life

We select only poems about life in one of the 38 big cities or small towns between Omaha and San Jose. You can find the 38 cities and towns at www.poetrycab.com/omaha-san-jose. It’s exactly the same route as the Poetry Train 2025.

What’s in it for you

Each selected poet will get a free ride on the Poetry Cab, his or her poem will be printed in our anthology and from each poet reading we will make a video in our backseat filmstudio.

Deadline

Submit your poem at least 48 hours before I arrive in your city to get selected for the Poetry Cab 2025!
